THE 45 VINYL RPM RECORD

RELEASED IN DETROIT MICHIGAN 1976 It all started in Detroit in 1976 when the members of the band Death, David,  Dannis, and Bobby Hackney after almost complete rejection by the then music industry and just about every major record label, decided to release a 45 vinyl record of their original songs recorded at the legendary United Sound recording studio. Even after their record release the rejection continued. Over thirty years later this record and it’s embodied songs have gained  world wide recognition. In 2016 this record has been inducted into the new Smithsonian African American History Museum in Washington DC.
